We are Who We Are...

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,  I know that full well.
Psalm 139:14

Stay at Home Mom, Career Woman, Small Group Leader, Customer Service Representative, Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend. Our jobs define who we are. Accomplishments make up the very fabric of our being. We are what we do...

SERIOUSLY??
Are you even kidding me?

While our accomplishments indeed make up what we are, that is not all of the equation. So much more goes into making us the women we are at this moment in time. It is so easy to look at others and think they have it all together. It is so easy to judge by appearance, or accomplishment and then let that judgement weigh down on our own insecurities and fears. "She's got it going on in the career department, she must have a perfect life. Wow, her house is so clean she must be the most fortunate person on the planet. She is so sweet, I wish I was her and not me." When nine times out of ten  that person you think has it all together and everything figured out couldn't be further from the truth. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, you are you and that is an important concept to realize. It is a concept that we must embrace. Stop comparing yourself to others, think about who you are. Examine your character and attitude. What changes need to be made to bring you closer to the amazing person God so desires you to be?
